We are Brady and Caroline, the owner operators of The Homestead Ranch.
We look forward to having you stay with us to relax and enjoy the beauty that the wild west has to offer. We offer guided & self-guided motorcycle tours of the Southern Sierras with all inclusive accommodations at our ranch in the mountains of Southern California.

Our favorite thing to do in Walker Basin is ride! With year round riding, there are plenty of beautiful scenic roads to take your breath away. On-road, off-road or dual-sport, you won't be disappointed...

OUR SERVICES
Vittles
Cowboy cooking on an open fire is our favorite way to feed our guests! Delicious cowboy coffee along with a fresh breakfast with local ingredients is included to keep you fueled up for your daily rides!
Supper can be provided for an additional charge.
Hike
There are many places to hike and explore throughout our beautiful canyons and mountains. We are happy to give you our local map with trails we love! Arrangements can be made for guided tours as well.
Ride
Our favorite thing to do in Walker Basin is ride! There are plenty of beautiful scenic roads to take your breath away. Whether by guided tour or on your own, we are happy to give you the needed guidance to find your way.
Connectivity
Here in Walker Basin, we strive to connect face-to-face. We do have Starlink internet available for our guests. No cell service is available directly in the basin. If need be, cell service can be obtained within a 20 minute drive.
Kitchenette
Along with the kitchenette, an electric tea kettle, a mini-fridge and a small microwave oven are provided for your convenience in the Bunkhouse.
THINGS TO DO
Lake Isabella
Just 24 miles north of the Ranch, you'll find Lake Isabella. A recreational lake and small town with all of the essentials available. There is a scenic road that loops around the edge of the lake. It's a great ride!
Kernville & Kern River
Approximately 12 miles further north is the charming town of Kernville. A favorite stop for many motorcycle riders and travelers alike, it also offers seasonal white water rafting down the beautiful Kern River.
Sequoia National Park
And 33 miles further north again brings you to some of the biggest, baddest, oldest and most beautiful Sequoia trees in our country; Trail of 100 Giants and the Sequoia National Forest. The roads are endless to explore.
Games
If you're looking to sit still we have a multitude of games at the Ranch. Horseshoes, Cornhole, Darts, Dominoes, Backgammon, cards, board games and more.
Eat
All within 30-45 minutes ride, there are several delightful places to eat locally. We are happy to help you find a spot as needed.
Motorcycles
If you haven't brought your own bike, we can help make arrangements for you to find a motorcycle rental.
